Strange problem with Daly BMS.

I have a Daly 4s 250amp BMS and have recently noticed a constant discharge of between .5 and 1.2 amps with nothing connected to batteries.

I swapped the BMS to check if it was the batteries or the BMS. It is only happening with this particular BMS.

I have scoured the internet for similar problems but have come up with zero. Any idea what this could be? Other than this it seems to be operating normally.

Is it possibly balancing the cells? Is it Bluetooth so you can turn the balance on and off?
 
I run 4 (four) DALY 48 volt 200 amp versions and one 12 volt 250 amp unit and they are exhibit weirdness in the columb counting arena. they do not normally count below about 1.5~2 amps which tosses your state of charge off when compared to actual shunt style monitors, and then they do weird BS like this.

I will say they do low temp shut off/high temp shutoff fine as well as charge and discharge shut off on high volt, low volt and voltage delta for the cells. it is just the whole amps/watts used, amps/watts in/out area that they are totally screwed on. three years in and i learned to say screw it as it does everything else properly
 
It has worked flawlessly for over 3 years till I left the inverter connected on standby and drained the battery. I caught it before low cell cut off.

I then top-balanced the pack thinking it may rectify bugs. Curious how the discharge rate seems to mirror the standby rate of the inverter?

You need to adjust the "current sampling wave" to .2

I'm not sure if it's in the android app. I don't use that.

Yes, that's from the PC.

That's the milliamp setting. .2 is the lowest it will go. If it's at say 2.0, the lowest amps it will read is 2.

I think that one. I have sent 3 report requests to Daly with no reply. @Damon YIP works for daly. I asked him where to go to get new software for an issue and he just disappeared.

yes I have been using these daly's for 3+ years and other than the first one that I blew up when I could not get it to turn on I have not had any real problems with them that i could attribute to the BMS other than the skewed SOC/Amp/watt counter
 
Va salut ,dacă ma puteți ajuta și pe mine cu o prob,am și eu o prob cu bms daly,am încercat un update de soft prin cablu,a eșuat acel update și acum nu mai poate fi conectat la cablu uart,nu îmi mai afișează nimic pe laptop,și pe Bluetooth se poate conecta dar nu îmi afișează nici o valoare,ma poate ajuta cineva cu un soft pt Bluetooth sa pot porni bms din nou,va mulțumesc tuturor
