    Mount panels over vents

I don't have a lot of uninterrupted roof space on my RV so I am trying to figure out if there is a way to mount panels over top of everything. I was considering some kind of roof rack that is taller than the vents so I can have a solid sheet of panels over the entire roof space, then an angled...

    Q Cells Q.PEAK-DUO-L-G8.2-420

Has anyone used these panels before? I was thinking about a couple of these on the roof of my Coachmen Prism due to the limited roof space I have and wanting to maximize the wattage density. Wanting to know anyone's experience working with them.

Anyone make their own cable lugs?

I have made my own bus bar using 3/4" L copper tubing and was wondering if anyone has done similar for cable lugs? I'm thinking maybe 1/2" M or N would work fine. Use a vise to crush the end and drill a whole, leaving 1/2-1" length to insert wire to crimp. Thoughts?

How to check internal resistance of 280ah LiFePo4 cells?

I found some videos showing how to do this using a resistor and multi meter, but it didn't say what resistor to use. Does it matter? Is there a better way? I want to see how well matched my cells are. They were supposed to come matched and balanced from the seller, but it appears 1 of them at...

    Why top balance?

Why the need to top balance LiFePo4 batteries? Does the BMS not take care of that by doing a balance charge? Just trying to understand before I build my first 24v battery. Most of my previous experience has been with 18650 battery packs and I have a charger that balances them while charging...

Looking for advice on converting RV to 24v batteries and adding solar

I am currently planning on doing a 24v 280ah battery conversion on my RV. I want to be able to run the microwave and AC for short time periods, possibly add more battery power for longer periods later, so thinking of a 3000w inverter. Most BMS that I have looked at seem to max out at 100a and...
