Yes, I used a smart charger to ensure they were charged fully. I've updated my system now with Victron equipment and they stay charged for much longer.

Done.

Apologies for late reply. That would have been from the charge controller. I've updated the system now so it's all changed.

Blue Sea only seem to go up to 150 amps with surface mounts and their website is painful to navigate on a phone. Are there any other reliable manufacturers that make a 200 amp version? Cheers

Between the batteries and inverter, is there any reason I can't replace these... (Mine is 200 amp) With this... Saw a guy on YouTube with this setup and it seems much cleaner. Cheers

That's what I have, and have always used in the past, but that was with lead acid. The thing is, now that I have LiFePo4 I was trying to be a little more accurate seeing that between 13.1v and 13.2v is a difference of 30%. The charge controller works to 2 decimal places but that doesn't really...

I wouldn't say I'm concerned, I was just curious as to the "rough" soc of the batteries. Just nice to glance up and see something rather than connect via app or whatever. I'm unlikely to ever be in a position where I want exact figures. Hence the little chart. Cheers

I printed off this chart yesterday just to use for quick reference for my LiFePo4 batteries. Now there seems to be many of these charts on the net and lots of them give conflicting figures. There seems to quite a few figures missing. I wondered if there was a "Gold Standard" more accurate...

Just to add to that previous post, the IP22 has now dropped down to around 160 watts. Which is approximately what my TV etc is using. Am I right in thinking that the batteries aren't being used for the load? Screenshot of my smart plug attached to the IP22. Cheers

So going by the settings I have changed, I would have thought that the IP22 would have stopped charging now, or am I misunderstanding this? It's still using around 250 watts. Cheers

Wow, thank you for taking the time to type all that. There are two 280ah batteries in parallel and at present I've only had a TV and a monitor as loads. About 160 watts. There are a couple of usb things being regularly charged too but I assume they're relatively insignificant. I'll make those...

I've just gone out and changed it back to LiFePo4. It's cost £6.15 since 8am and it's only 7pm now. I've now set up a smart plug to turn it on two hours before sunrise and turn off at sunrise. Unless I'm missing something, I would have thought they'd sell a gizmo that charged the batteries...

I did see that but was terrified to change anything. I'd like to say I'll get more confident with all this but to be honest I'm a bit of a half-wit.
