I am planning on upgrading a 15s battery as well....Does anyone see a problem with adding a 280ah battery to the 15 exisiting 200ah cells?

I hooked it up to a 3.2 volt cell, and when I begin the test, the cell voltage on the display jumps from 3.2 volts to 144 volts...... Am I doing something wrong? or is my unit defective?.......Thanks!

Should I redo a top balance on the repaired battery bank before putting it back in parallel with the other 3 battery banks?

Yes, I can isolate each of the four 48 volt banks independently.....So I can disconnect the bank with the bad cell from the other 3 battery banks

I have the Overkill Solar 16s BMS, and it uses a pair of 24 inch 8 gauge cables crimped together going to and from the BMS on the negative side...If two 8 gauge wires combined are equal to a 5 gauge wire, then, I am thinking a 48 inch 4 gauge wire on the positive side would be sufficient.
