Should be no problem. Ensure each Growatt 5000 ES has the minimum required PV voltage for startup: 150vdc

I am running this same setup, it is very reliable & flexible. Also very scalable.

I would imagine there are a ton of shipyard type Electrician Jobs in the Puget Sound area. Government & Civilian. You will get scooped up in no time. Shipboard life and work can be grueling, the employers know it.

With Norway as a leading example of EV adoption, makes me laugh at EV's being viable solution in colder environments. It works. Tesla does not have a demand issue. Pricing yes, but not demand. Hence why I am waiting out the right priced used Model Y.

Much agreed, Our local gas "Shell" station/ Dairy Queen installed (8) Tesla Supercharger stalls. Gas, Electric Charge, Ice Cream, Convenience store. Win/Win.

Similar here. Needing a utility 4x4/AWD Hatchback, some ground clearance, 200+ Range, $25k-$30k. 4x4/AWD is a must where I live. Used Model Y, small lift kit works for me, Beefier wheels/tires.

I'll get into an EV eventually. Its one reason I'm pushing my scaled Solar build. The longer it takes me, the lower used EV prices are.

That does sound stupid, glad you found the cause. Has additional cooling external to the units possibly helped? Keeping a Fan blowing air across the Growatt unit(s)? I run (2) Growatt 5000 units. In open air shop, no air conditioning, but plenty of circulating air flow. Not a problem yet.

For me, this setup works very well Off-Grid and its scalable.

With your planned upgrade, would recommend placing PV circuit breakers onto PV feeds just before Inverters. Helps for times like these working with systems. Allowing you to ioslate loads prior to changes/troubleshooting efforts.
