    Single-Point Watering systems

I was looking at possible getting a single point watering system with the trojan batteries im about to order. Does anyone on here have experience with them? Pros and Cons?

    Battery recommendations

So I'm looking at changing out the batteries I have now. I'm on have a sol-ark 15k and some cheap lead acid everstart batteries. I'm not running off the batteries often, basically just using them for backup when the grid goes down. I would rather stay away from lithium due to the cost and issues...

    Hypothetical Bifacial setup

Ok I have some bifacial panels and it got me thinking. Not factoring in the issues with instillation, would mounting bifacials perfectly vertical and facing east and west provide the best power generation?

    Acceptable voltage in home.

Not sure this is the best area for this question but here it goes. I have a fairly long run of wire (300ft round trip) to my inverter and the voltage from the grid is at 115v. Since the inverter is matching the grid voltage and then having to send that back to the house my drop is a tad bit...

    Acceptable DC voltage loss

What does everyone on here consider a max acceptable voltage loss for your DC cables?

    Sigineer buyer beware

So this is just my experience but don't ever buy Sigineer products. I bought one of their charge controllers with dual trackers. Tracker number 1 wasn't working, it showed volts but no amps. After three weeks of emails and a video of the issue they insisted it wasn't something that happened...

    Inverter recomendation

I have been looking for a good 48 volt inverter that is 240v, and would like some suggestions. I am potentially needing 10kw of total power and already have a charge controller. I would like a inverter that I could stack, so im not spending so much at once and hopefully wont break the bank but...

    Sigineer charge controller

I was poking around looking for a different charge controller and stumbled across the sigineer mppt48120. It says on their site that it has two separate 60A MPPT trackers. First question is if anyone has experience with their charge controllers on their quality. Second if it has two separate...

    two inverters to make 240

Ok so maybe this is a stupid question. But if i have two inverters that are the exact same, wouldn't it be possible to wire them to produce 240 in a panel? Basically have 1 inverter run 1 leg and the other inverter on the other leg?

    Hybrid inverter shutdown

Maybe im overthinking this. But with a hybrid inverter with batteries installed how exactly does it shutdown with grid power loss but still provide power from the batteries? Is the inverter installed on the line between the meter and the house?

    Grid tie inverter

Hoping some one can answer this. I have been looking into installing a grid tie system for my house but the best area for the panels would be near the garage which is wired. It has a 240 panel in it already, so would it cause a issue if the inverter was installed at the garage panel?

Breaker size and wire for inverter

So i am setting up a small system for a shed so that i can power a few things. What im unsure of is what size of breaker and wire to run from the batteries to the inverter. Currently I have two 12v in series and will be using a 24v 3000w inverter. This highest load I anticipate running is 15a...

Can you run 2 devices off 1 charge controller

I currently have a solar panel that is keeping a 12v battery charged for a electric fence shocker. I am wondering if its possible to run a inverter and the fence shocker off the same controller, and if so how would you wire that up? Would you just put the leads for the inverter in the same...
