    aims inverter/charger

I have an Aims 24v 4000w inverter/charger, I use a 100 amp-100v shunt between the inverter and batt bank on the negative side to allow me to monitor current, voltage, etc..works great!

    photovoltaic component over voltage

Thank you, that's exactly what it appears to be doing with the temp drops here in the PNW! I love this board, thanks again!

    photovoltaic component over voltage

I suspect I may have missed some parameter setting in the controller?..I have a 40A rich solar which i've heard are identical to the Renogy units

    photovoltaic component over voltage

Thanks for the response, 4 200W panels wired in series, open circuit voltage of 24.3, have a 40A SCC Max solar input voltage 100V

    photovoltaic component over voltage

Hello all, I'm having problems with an error code on the CC stating the panels are getting too much voltage? I have to keep resetting the CC because it stops charging the batts. This seems to work for a while then starts doing it again. The voltage goes into the high 90's before it shuts down...

    Charging LiFEP04 with AIMS inverter/charger

I have a newer model 24v AIMS inverter and the charging profile for lithium on the unit itself states 28.8 fast, and OFF for float, yet the green float indicator light comes on as if it actually were floating??...trying to crack that nugget, because leaving it on this LiFePo4 setting seems fine

    Rich solar kit

Hi I joined after seeing this thread..This is the kit I got also. I added another identical 40a charge controller kit for another $300...I've taken this route since an 80a controller is so inexplicably expensive, 2x40a= 80a. split the system to 1 battery bank of 400ah lithium, to a 4000w...
