    Battery disconnect, pos or neg?

    I bought a battery disconnect switch, bright red with a on/off switch. I’ve seen them on solar set ups, on the red pos wire off the battery. The paperwork with the unit shows it on the neg wire side. Are both acceptable?

    Assembling my 2000w 24v system.

    I’m trying to determine the best lay out. I have a few questions down the road but thought I’d begin here: any ideas on layout. First question is is it detrimental to have something fused twice.?

    keep 50F in 10x10x10 pump house.

    This small room houses a on demand water heater, rarely, when below 20F outside a little heat is required to keep > 50F. How long could a 100wh lithium battery power a 400watt heater? Is this feasible? The environment is a grid down outage.
