    That was fun...

Yeah, that's how it's wired but I also wanted the option of powering the inverter and charging the batteries with both the solar and converter (charger). I put in a dissconnect between the converter and the transfer switch so I can do that, it requires an extra power cord but pretty simple...

    That was fun...

Yes, it is not AIO. I'm sure Lance handled all the N-G bond scenarios. I'm still using factory camper wiring with minimal deviation.

    That was fun...

So I retrofitted my old Lance camper, it was much more involved than those so-called simple wiring setups you see online. POVs, Charge Controller, Lithium batteries, inverter, converter, auto transfer switch, batt. monitor, and a lot of wires and fuses. I also added a soft starter on my AC unit...

    No load showing

I have a epever 40a mppt solar charge controller with a mt50 display. Everything seems ok except I'm not showing a load on the display when my 12v lights and fridge are on. Or is the lower right load display only for the load terminals on the controller because they are not connected?

    Switch

Seems like I'd get some loss going through the inverter to the 25A ac charger but it may be the best way.

    Switch

Thanks, Don, the user manual says with max solar input (whatever that is) it takes 6hrs. to charge. Their largest panel portable sets are 200w.

    Switch

Don, I just charged it on house ac and it was 36 hrs. I just was wondering if there is a switch I can get that goes between one charge controller and another. (Camper CC and Yeti CC)

    Switch

I have a 400w solar sys. on my camper with a 50a Renogy controller. I also have a yeti 3000 with a built-in controller. I want to charge the yeti from the sys. but I don't want to charge it with AC, it's so slow that way. Any suggestions?

    Camper integration

You could always use a step down dc/dc voltage converter to go from 24 to 12

    Camper integration

Back in the day, we ran 6v starters on our VW dune buggies, you just don't hold it on a long time.

    Camper integration

Well, I have the old manual jacks so... but if I ever upgrade that a consideration.

    Camper integration

    Thanks, I didn't consider a 24v....hmm

    Camper integration

Thanks, guys. You're right HRTKD. I saw a video on youtube adding solar to a truck camper, it was very involved and expensive. If anyone has a simpler less costly solution that would be cool...

    Camper integration

My Camper has shore power, a generator, and alternator charging. Seems like on the surface you could have batteries separate from the camper battery, powered by solar panels, and a charge controller out to an inverter that just plugs into a 110v outlet unless the shore or generator 110v would...

    Camper integration

I have a truck camper and I get how to wire a solar system but integrating it into the camper system I'm not sure or do you keep it separate and just join at the battery?
