    Leaf battery question

I have a 2018 Leaf that I've been driving 100 miles a day, 5 days a week for the last 5 years. It's still making the daily run, but with winter coming I'll be having to start charging it with the slow charger at work (1.2kw, 8 hrs.) along with the level 2 charging (6.6Kw till it's full) each...

    Powering 1 120 volt leg.

The inverter is not a 120/240 split phase so it can't power both the L1 and L2 legs. It is a pass through type inverter so when the incoming grid power is lost the internal transfer switch disconnects the grid; and will not restore the connection until 15 seconds after clean grid power is...

    Powering 1 120 volt leg.

The inverter has an automatic transfer switch that disconnects from the main input when it switches to battery power. Is this what you mean? Or is it possible to feed the line I am not powering with the battery through the stove back into the grid? Do I need a lockout device on that line?

    Help with my system please.

I've run the calculator to convert rc to ah to kwh and end up with 8.7kwh. Seems kind of low. I may have to up my battery game if I'm going to use this for a backup system.

    Powering 1 120 volt leg.

My inside panel has 240v single phase coming in (L-L-N). My stove and electric car plug use 240 volts, so they draw power from both 120 volt legs. I would like to install an inverter for automatic battery backup on the 120 volt leg that powers "essential" circuits. Is this possible to do without...

Quick question about an AIMS inverter

Hi and thanks for the response. I've checked the dip switch positions, verified battery voltage, and checked the circuit breakers. All is at it's supposed to be. I even hotwired the #3 and #5 pins of the remote display to see if the issue might be in the control panel. No lights, no joy. I've...

Quick question about an AIMS inverter

I have an AIMS 6000w 24/240 split inverter/charger that I am testing before I buy. I hooked up the batteries and turned it on but nothing happend. No lights, fan, nothing. Can this thing run as a pure inverter or does it need the 240 volt input to turn it on? That wouldn't make sense to me but...

    Help with my system please.

Hi All, Been reading through the forum here for the last couple of days before posting. I've had a small PV array (800w) in my garage for 2 years. The array maintains four 8D batteries (Napa part # 8276) that have a RC of 435 minutes (181Ah) each. I use it infrequently for the lights, saws...
