Would have been good to first measure the amp draw with the FLA batteries. My 48V AC-motor cart would draw ~130A while accelerating or climbing hills.

For that money you could purchase a Leaf with good battery pack that has far more KWH capacity and a real suspension, unlike a lawnmower-based golf cart. Takeoff the doors and fenders, add a roof rack, mount some oversized mud tires and you have a serious offroad vehicle.

Unscientific, but my hefty APC 3000XL (2700W LF) UPS can start my 1/2hp garbage disposal without blinking. My lightweight 2500W HF Reliable can barely start the disposal, and will brown out the entire house making other items turn off.

Before tossing the inverter research the distortion specification on the waveform. Cheapie UPS’s can have a nasty THD of +45%. Maybe your Magnum waveform is not perfect, but not that bad.
