@sshibly @tomsk So, I ground away a little of the mounting on the power supply to clear the foot stand off, and drilled new holes for where this ended up sitting in the case. I used different screws & nuts than what came with it and cut the screws down to size.

It's earlier models that do not unscrew. They do unscrew on the RD6024

Do you have a price range you're looking for? I love my RD6024, but it's a little pricy compared to those little units.

That is a solenoid BMS. You'll need to purchase the HD contactor that goes with it separate, and then that wires into the BMS

In all the bifacial panels I've looked at, the VOC will maybe go up .1v, but the Amp rating is what you calculate out at the % of gain.

For the cost of individual components, you can buy spare AIO's. ;) I plan on running off 2 SPF5000s, but plan on having 3 wired up for just such a situation. Maybe use the 3rd as a charge controller only, or maybe just have it sitting there ready.

He already did something similar to this - don't think it was with bi-facials, but I would expect similar results.

UPDATE! Just got another unit, and they listened. The buttons now have a connector so you can mount it.

You need to contact JK. They can send you a data file to put on a memory card to load new code into the screen.
