Well it was easy to open up only a small bit of the lid was actually glued on, I found a couple of wires pinched and the the rest is self explanatory in the photos ... I cant believe that I had these batteries connected in Series running a 2400w inverter off them, I drew 50A for more than 30...

@wattmatters thanks for tall the info greatly appreciated I have attached the inverter manual. all settings are similar to the default I managed to charge the batteries back to full in 15hrs over 2 days (10 hrs sun time) its been cloudy for a big part of the first day
