Is Sol-Ark still sending data to China?

Hmmm. Invading, overthrowing and stealing resources is not the moral way. BRICS and Belt and Road trade deals are though.

    Eg4 6500EX 48 question

i have 24 385 W panels. I did not have good results with input voltage over 300. If I'm under 200v with double the amp input, I produce much more power. I put up a post regarding this last year but it went nowhere.

Does anyone have a EG4 inverters setup running without any problems?

I'm running two EG6500's with DIY 48v 280a JK bms 16s batteries. I had an over temp in a hot garage in the summer in the hottest state in the US. I leave the lower covers off in the summer and a fan pushes the exited hot air away so it doesn't make it's way into the inlet. No problems since...

    Calling all EG4 6500EX Owners

Just a flicker on a few bulbs regardless of load. Washers are brutal. Not a high load but the up and down. I don't have a problem with my washer though but I make sure I keep the loads some what low, rarely above 4500w. I know they can do 6500 but nothing is happy running at max.

    Calling all EG4 6500EX Owners

I'm running two 6500's. 3.5t a/c is on a soft start. Pool and Water heater both (120v) are offset timed. I just make sure the ac/ doesn't come on when the dryer is running with the pool or H2O. I get the flicker too.

Signature Solar - What roof mounting system

I used Iron Ridge too. I found a local place that carries them and others. It was less expensive using their aluminum racking than buying steel and making my own. https://www.ironridge.com/

    Sol-Ark 15k - Surge Amps

I can't sepak on the Sol-Ark but the EG6500's are HF too. If I went a little over max watt on an a/c start, it would shut it all down. Nothing else could be running. This cut my startup to 1/3 or less. 3.5 ton a/c starts no problem no matter what I have running...

EG4 6500EX-48 still drawing power from grid in SBU mode

I have this issue too with the 6500ex's. When I am not concerned with battery depletion over night, I flip the breaker off going to the inverters which forces then to consume from the batteries.

    Solis hybrid RHI-6K-48ES-5G with DIY Lifepo4 16pcs 48volts,,, BMS ?

I'm running twin EG6500's. Battery type is set to "User Defined" Float Voltage, 54.6 Bulk Voltage, 55.0, many people go higher Equalization, disabled Max charge current, 60a per inverter. 120a total, less than .5C to keep the batteries happy Battery cut off voltage 47.5v Back to grid voltage...

Help Sourcing fuses, bus bars, connectors and such

Temco wire. I bought on Ebay. Crimping your own ends is more than easy. You won't have to worry about buying correct lengths. MC4 connectors. I used a DC breaker instead of a fuse. https://www.ebay.com/itm/222304797420

BATTERY SELLERS - THE GOOD, BAD, UGLY -- or Jenny (DOCAN) so far so good ...

I did paypal with Amy from Docan. There was an extra fee for something. I could have done a bank transfer but didn't want to hassle. Everything was fine.

    Hankzor JK-BMS B2A24S20P 70 A charge -> and watch the video

. You are charging to 55.2v, 3.45 per cell but one cell takes a charge slower so the voltage is higher and you trip the bms. Set your bms ovp a little higher, at least 3.6v . It's a safety. It is working, you are just making it work hard. Try it then see how it goes.

    Hankzor JK-BMS B2A24S20P 70 A charge -> and watch the video

Your bms is working fine, it went form charge to not charging and showed a positive amp charge to a negative back to a positive. The BMS is a safety. If you want 3.5v per cell, set your inverter to charge at 3.5x16=56v and bms over volt to 3.55 to 3.6. One cell will always be a little higher...

UK - About to purchase LiFePO4 cells for home battery + Inverter/BMS advice

I know MPP has a 8048 max that is 240v too. I don't know if it is on par price wise with the Growatt. I bought from Amy through Docan, Jenny seems to get equal praise. To save a buck, you could order from them but ship from China and wait a little longer. About budget, I was originally going...

2 arrays, different directions - question on if it will work

This is on just one on 4 of my mppt inputs, 2 inverters. On this string, 4 panels in series face south. I later added 4 more in series facing west. They are paralled into one mppt input. Just increasing amps/watts.

UK - About to purchase LiFePO4 cells for home battery + Inverter/BMS advice

I know you only want 100a batteries but when it's all done, BMS, wire, time, the 280a are a better value. Most only use 80% to keep the batteries happy. 5kw won't last long. My 16s 280a batteries run a 8000 btu window a/c, fridge, misc all night until the sun is back up. JK bms, mine doesn't...

2 arrays, different directions - question on if it will work

I have one of 4 strings a 4s2p. 4 face south and 4 face west at about 45 degrees on the ground. before 12 pm it produces just a little more than the other 4s but after 12pm to 6 pm it makes up with the afternoon sun. I never loose anything from it.

    Solis hybrid RHI-6K-48ES-5G with DIY Lifepo4 16pcs 48volts,,, BMS ?

JK does active balancing. Not plug and play but I am happy with mine. Set inverter to charge volts manually and bms as a safety and it doesn't really need to communicate.

    Hankzor JK-BMS B2A24S20P 70 A charge -> and watch the video

On my JK, I have my max set to 3.6v . I use these settings as a safety, not a charge feature. I set my inverter to 55.6 max charge and never have to use the JK safety settings. I have had things set too close in amp charge discharge and charged them and all is good. I would raise your max to...

    Parallel Sungold 6548 inverters

We a 40 gallon heater. It's on a timer for 1 hour a day at 10 am. It's enough for two people to shower in the summer at 5 pm or in the morning. In the winter I turn the tank temp up and the timer but it holds the temp long enough. We use a 2.5 gallon 120v tank under the kitchen sink. On a timer...

    48V 16S 280ah EVE Cells + BMS

I run the JKS 200A with twin 6500EG's, 9.2kw panels and 16 280a batteries. I ordered from Hankzor on aliexpress. Make sure to get it with a power button so you aren't jumping it with a battery to start it. I think that is default now. I just used the bluetooth app. I run a lot on mine but...

    EG4 6500 Power Output Problem

What is setting 10 set to? I have no grounds even attached anywhere, until I can get my main panel apart again and isolate them so the don't touch the others on the main. If you think you have a ground issue, just run without any until you resolve it. What is your grid ac voltage at the...

    EG4 6500 Power Output Problem

It isn't always 120v output. It matches grid. Sometimes I have 122 or 119. This pic is from a minute ago. I re read your first post. I have no grounds connected. If I had your PV voltage, I would have problems. On ac output mode, do you have yours configured similar? I did not put #2 inverter...

    EG4 6.5kW Off-Grid Inverter | 6500EX-48

Under "charging source priority", if you set to "solar+utility", it will charge from grid when solar is no longer available. It will only charge from grid when it is not using battery though. So on mine, it gets to 48v, switches back to grid (utility) and then the grid trickles in 2amps, the...

    Fridge won't start at night

If it's a regular twin plug outlet check the voltage of the one next to the fridge plug when it kicks on. You may know but inductive loads are not the same as a resistant load like a toaster or water heater.

    Fridge won't start at night

If you have a current feed problem. You could have 120v with a light load, increase the load and that voltage drops. If your voltage drops too much on start up, it may shut off to protect the compressor. If you measure voltage at a main panel it will be 119 to 122. Check at a running pool pump...

    Fridge won't start at night

I didn't read all the suggestions so sorry if this is a repeat. I would check the voltage at the fridge plug on startup. I would check peak amp draw on start up, if your clamp meter has a hold setting. If not you won't catch it just watch amp draw. I have a 6 foot extension cord with n and hot...

    EG4 6500 Power Output Problem

I'me running twin EG6500's. A few things I can think of. Do you have one set to master? UPS or appliance mode? I have tried higher input PV voltage and it kills the PV input watts. I got less from 6 panels inline than 4 on one string. Over 190V and it kills power PV watts. Post up your settings...

    Newb looking for direction

The LCD shows voltage and charge in amps. I didn't buy the screen for the display but for the ease of turning the thing on. It looks like they have a switch included now. This is the place I bought mine. They say "free switch". You should be good without the added hassle of jumping it with...

    EG6500 PV input voltage problems

I have been running two EG6500 inverters without problems, PV1 3S2P, PV2 4S. I just added two more panels to each inverters PV2 inputs. 385w, 49v, 9 amps panels in series. 6 panels got around 239v and dropped my wattage. I tried 5 panels and when my input voltage gets around 190v, it cuts the...

Do Hybrid Inverters pull from Grid/Solar/Battery at the same time?

No, they are off grid that will switch to grid pass through once battery voltage is too low based on your setting. I should say that with a 280ah 48v battery bank (diy) I can run a lot, even in the evening with low or no solar without worry. Not 13k and I would never push them that hard but 6k...
