None of the cables in the Overkill Solar 48V BMS will plug into the Growatt 12Kw inverter. I went to Overkill Solar site - no cable there that I can see to order. Anybody know which cable to get so the BMS and inverter can communicate?

I got the large - capacity is 16 pounds. During harvest season there is no problem filling it up. Outside of harvest season we make commercial batches of soups, spaghetti sauce, and to so on. Kind of a pain sometimes. So now Harvest Right is offering the extra large FD machine.... 32 pounds...

The Growatt inverter will use grid power as a last resort should it be needed. Since the freeze dryer runs around the clock on a 44 hour run then I expect some grid power to be used during the night.

I hoped that Docan would be the goto for batteries but after getting some bulgy 304's my faith took a dump. To be fair it was less than 4 out of 16 but I paid for new and I expected new. unbulgy batteries.

So in Will's top balancing video it was suggested to use a diode in the charging circuit and Will agreed that it is a good idea. So I'm looking for an example of this setup and what size and orientation of the diode?

Thanks for catching my math. It is not intuitive to me. But now that I visualize a battery I can see the voltage increasing in series. And thanks for the suggested panel strategies. This really helps.

It's been a long, long, long time since I took DC circuits. I have to keep notes around on important formulas... the one I use the most is Watts = Volts X Amps. Simple math but the dust is thick in my noggin.

Amy Zheng helped me out during Chinese New Year. I got my cells in today and all measured right at 3.404 for all 16. Beautiful packaging. One box had been abused some but the cells were well protected and had no damage. I ordered another 16 after seeing the condition of these.
