When I bought my SOK 6-206 amps batteries, they said you could install them on their sides or upside down as not an issue. The RV dealer installed the right side up.

I can run both air conditioners as I did all summer long in Florida. I have 2 of the multi plus 2 in now. If not on shore power, all I need to do is fire up the oan generator and charge the batteries right up, and run the air at the same time.

No, the lights stayed .when breakers shut off. Gfi, I plugged in my wife's hair curling iron. There was a five-second shock to the inside system as coffee in the microwave stopped then started.

They are held with metal screwed into floor. I guess that keeps batteries from moving. I was going to build a metal top hold down, but these seem very solid, so I did not bother.

If this helps, when at Mom's, I run both airs off of battery system fo 8 hours and then need to start the generator. All off shore power if this helps. One air is a heat pump.

The manufacturer would only install three 100watt; I wanted them to do it so no leaks. Where I park the motor home is kind of in the woods, but I only relied on those panels once in FL at moms house, and they did fair but did not see the need to add more as was my original plan.
