    Constant 0.5A (24W @ 48V system) discharge. Need help.

Hello, I have a diy 1600W system on an isolated site that is running pretty well, but I am noticing that I have a constant discharge on the batteries of 0.5A, so 24W on my 48V system, even if my Victron app is showing a 1W AC Out consumption. I assume the loss is coming from the DC system but...

    Off-grid project in the south of France - 1.4kW / 4.8kWh

That's interesting. I am actually mounting my panel array on a pole, I haven't build the mount yet, maybe I could think of a system to have 1 panel facing South East, 2 panels South and 1 panel South West arranged around the pole. I could also arrange some at different angles, but that's maybe...

    Off-grid project in the south of France - 1.4kW / 4.8kWh

That's how we note panel orientation in French, I guess it does not translate well internationaly. It just means the panels are oriented pure south.

    Off-grid project in the south of France - 1.4kW / 4.8kWh

Ok, so here's my final diagram: I'm gonna ditch the Lynx Distributor and do the DC distribution with 150A/70V Victron busbars and then use MIDI 40A/58V (Victron for 48V), so it should cover all my needs. Regarding wires, unfortunately the max wire size for the Multiplus is 13mm2 (AWG6) and...

    Off-grid project in the south of France - 1.4kW / 4.8kWh

Yeah that is the issue I am facing... I guess I could remove the Lynx Distributor, switch to busbars and DC Breakers as Don suggested, as I should find smaller 48V Breakers... The choice of 48V isn't exactly a choice. I mean it helps that it'll allow me to grow much bigger in the future if I...

    Off-grid project in the south of France - 1.4kW / 4.8kWh

Thank you! Well, I wish I could go lfp... But I don't know if it's just around here, but right now in France the prices are: - 2x 12V 200Ah Gel = 660 Euros - 1x 24V 200Ah LFP = 4,000 Euros So the gap is a bit too big for me at the moment... Even for a longer lifespan and less backpain carrying...

    Off-grid project in the south of France - 1.4kW / 4.8kWh

Got it, thanks! So how about 5x 330W panels, would that make sense? Although, I am not sure I can find the exact same pannels anymore, so even if they are 330W, I guess the VoC/Vmp/Isc would be slightly different... Is there a way to wire 5 panels, or maybe I should shoot for 6, but then I...

    Off-grid project in the south of France - 1.4kW / 4.8kWh

Many thanks for your very insightful inputs. Amazing! Here's my answer: Right, the issue I was facing with a smaller installation was several cloudy days in a row. I might think of upsizing the batteries then. So, I actually already own the two 330W panels, and since I wanted to reach 1400W...
