    AIMS Power 24/3000 inverter charger

3000 Watt Pure Sine Inverter Charger 24 Volt. Brand new. Never been energized. I bought it then decided I needed 240v ac and bought another unit. Paid $1200. DM me with an offer. I’m in Colorado but can ship CONUS. https://www.aimscorp.net/product/3000-watt-pure-sine-inverter-charger-24-volt/

    230v for mobile minisplit

I’ve been running a 240v TOSOT mini split for nearly a year now. 38 seer. I’m running it in my box truck with a 24v system and a 4000 watt Magnum inverter that outputs 240v. System absolutely kicks ass in the summer. Cools down my truck and keeps it cold while drawing around 300 watts...

Anyway to charge battery bank using EV charging stations?

I’ve found a circuit board that handles the communication. That part is hackable. I just can’t find info on the power in the 2 hot legs of the plug

Anyway to charge battery bank using EV charging stations?

My system: 4 208 SOK batteries, 4k watt Magnum inverter, 2k watts of solar panels. I’d love to be able to charge up quickly at an EV power station on cloudy days. My inverter charger will take 240 volt input from 2 120v legs that are 180 degrees out of phase. It’s my understanding that level...

    Starlink is a game-changer

Its some proprietary plug. They have a $20 ethernet adapter that goes between the two where you can plug in a standard cable.

That's how not to do it! Yeah, Id be happy if I could just lose the pole.

    Starlink is a game-changer

My Starlink RV arrived today! Will have to find a way to mount on roof of RV. Also very interested in POE injector so I can run it on DC.

    Starlink is a game-changer

Do you have any links to the groups that are flat mounting and using POE?

    Starlink is a game-changer

My order arrives in 2 more days! I’ll need to check it out and devise a mounting plan.

    Starlink is a game-changer

I want to mount it flat on the roof. The motorized tilting is apparently unnecessary now that there are more satellites. Will probably modify power supply to run on dc and save the inverter loss.

    Starlink is a game-changer

I miss the Iridium satellites. I had an app on my phone that would alert me to Irridium flares. Spent more than a decade logging hundreds of them!

    Starlink is a game-changer

Just ordered my Starlink RV today! Said approximately 2 weeks shipping. Can’t wait. This will put me in digital nomad land.

Roof entry ports for mini split tubing

I’m running the insulated copper tubes from the mini split compressor along the top of my rv roof. Anybody know of a good watertight way of going through the roof into the rv? Anything like a solar cable entry gland that can handle 1 inch openings?

    Help me understand controller capacity

Ok. So say I hook up 3 450 watt panels in parallel, voltage stays at 40, amps triple to 36. When hooked up to my 24 v system am I looking at an 80 amp controller?

    Help me understand controller capacity

I’m confused on this. I want to use a 450 watt panel that puts out 40 volts and 11 amps. When I use this on my 24v system will the controller halve the input voltage and double the amperage? Meaning do I need a 22 amp controller? Or is the input ratings on charge controllers independent from...

Victron Phoenix Inverter for 240V Split Phase in USA?

Im looking for a solution like this. I want to run a 240 volt mini split as well as some 120 v appliances. I also want a shore line power to charge 24v battery bank. Is it possible to have 120 v shore power coming in while inverter is outputting 240 v?

    Ford E450 build

I just assumed you might know about 240 volt systems when you asked if I had any 240 volt loads.

    Ford E450 build

Unfortunately not. This was set up as a FedEx delivery truck and not an RV. Would love to have the lithium alternator charging while driving!

    Ford E450 build

I know nothing of 240 volt converters. There is one mini split system I’m interested in that runs in 240. Has the highest SEER rating and operates at the coldest temps that I’ve found. Is there a converter that can output 240v and 120v simulate?

    Ford E450 build

Yeah, I’m setting up the system for 24 volts

    Ford E450 build

It’s got the new 6 speed with 4.56 limited slip. So much power. It makes my old 460 feel anemic.

    Ford E450 build

Getting busy on my new E450 build. I owned an E350 used Ryder Truck for nearly 30 years. Used it as a test platform for a rolling equipment truck/ recording studio with living quarters. Had 500w of PV and 4 golf cart batteries. Could run my music equipment, fridge,TV and lights. Had a 900w AC I...
