    All I run is a fridge and two fans, only one fan when the fridge is running, guess I will just run the fridge and no fan until it cools down a bit. Probably the excess heat making the fridge work harder, any idea on the heat sink idea?

    Wired in parallel voltage never goes above 19v my cheap ass multimeter is fused at 10 Amp I have checked each panel and in max sun 4.8 amps max, the cheap controller has an Amp meter, I do not trust it either but it never shows over 19.4 amps

    Yes they are hooked to a 1500 w inverter never pull more then a 5 Amp spike with 3 Amp steady.

    They are old large clamp style 2000 watt power drive came out of my semi. I have the connections hooked to the same battery but not the one that are connected to the charge controler

I have a 300ah lead acid battery bank, when running the cables from the charge controller, should I connect the + and - to the same battery or connect + to one battery and - to the farthest battery, or does it even matter?     UPDATE Moved the system today, used 20 ft of #8 went from 14.9 amps to 19.5 amps, I am dancing a jig, Thank you all for your input.
