I just got a CODE 51 on one of my LV2424, i have two in parallel for 220V they've been running for 2 years. yesterday one of them showed CODE 51 witch means over current, but it wasn't on when this happened. It had 2s2p 250w panels for about 1000w total, way lower than its max. disconnected it...

On my parallel setup, either inverter can charge at different settings! One can be set at 50amps and the other at 10, its the only setting that doesnt automatically change on both inverters.

Personally i Wouldnt go over 50 AMPS! In fact i no longer charge at 50 amps since that is its limit, wich cant be trusted to be able of handling constantly 50 amps.

If it stops charging then how would it continue discharging and applying power to the load? And the oposite? If it stops discharching how will it continue charging? I have a chargery but have been waiting for this! Currently im using an ANT bms on a common port.

I may just try and combine my 400ah Lifepo with my 660ah Lead acid, ill just charge it ALL in parallel with the Lifepo4 settings since my Lifepo4s are set to float at 27V it shouldnt be to bad. Every month ill switch off the Lead acids and do an equalize on them.....

Wont be good! You need wire for solar if its outside exposed to the sun, or keep it in conduit!

Yes! Ancor brand has Copper thats tined, so it resits corrosion. Just 1 panel? 8 AWG is for 60 amps i believe.

THANKS BARRY! I currently changed the values to some recomended on the forums! The only power wires the lcd have are the ones that said to connec to to a lower than 12v source to power on the BMS, are those meant to power on the lcd?

The panel can be set in a balcony and at least get some power during an extended outage. Flooded lead acid is Cheaper but they shouldnt be kept inside due to off gasing and need watter every few months.

For $1500 all i can think of would be a 1) MPP brand, all in one, 2000 to 3000 watt version. 2) Any used cheap 24V, 60 cell solar panel above 300 Watts, ( about $100) wich will be cheaper that 2 or 3 100W panels. 3) Should have about $1000 left. This is the hard part, you may get a 24V 100AH...

Yup! Mine was the 4215 BN wich should of been good with 150v! But it never liked 110v and would overheat and restart, this was the begining and what i believe caused it to fail. I even put a fan on it just to see, it did help some.
