Having problems with my Pylontech US5000

To be honest I don't belive that excuse. A BMS is there to cut-off in case voltage is too high or low, I guess they are just trying to talk you out of claiming warranty. This is really sad to hear, I was also thinking about buying a pylontech 5000, to not have to hit-or-miss with the no-name...

Having problems with my Pylontech US5000

I cannot help you sorry, but I find it strange they claim it was overcharged - is this not exactly what the BMS inside should prevent?

Anyone has purchased these Wulills 200AH 24v LiFePo4 batteries ?

After I havent't reveived my battery after 3,5 months (located in austria near germany) and the order was 3 days before auto-confirmig delivery, I opened a dispute. Wullils stated on 30.1. that the battery arrived in the "european warehouse" and on 10.2. according to them it was already in...

Wow this is bad! 140ah instead of 200ah, I wonder how this will resolve :/

S-1500-60 switching supply with adjustable current / voltage - I am lost

It took about a week until the parcel was on its way. However I chose "cainiao heavy parcel" because it was the cheapest option which took almost 6 weeks, with weeks with no tracking updates at all. There are a few sellers selling the same device, I wonder who actually makes this device.

Anyone has purchased these Wulills 200AH 24v LiFePo4 batteries ?

Sad to hear about the troubles with Wulills you had - I am still awaiting the arrival of my 48V/120 ah battery. 20% less capacity is quite a thing, was it no option at all for you to keep the battery and try get some compensation? I guess with all the shipping costs the order in which I most...

S-1500-60 switching supply with adjustable current / voltage - I am lost

The seller was helpful and provided me with some pictures, where to connect 0-5V. However polarity was not clear in those pictures, so my first attempt led to 120V at the switching supply output connected to the inverter (0-96V). The inverter shut off with DC high warning - hopefully no...

S-1500-60 switching supply with adjustable current / voltage - I am lost

I guess a POT would work, but I ordered exactly this type with promised 0-5V control for both current and voltage, so I could control it via an Arduino / ESP32. With nothing connected, I get very 3-4V on the terminals. they way it behaved when measuring with a DC meter makes me think it works...

S-1500-60 switching supply with adjustable current / voltage - I am lost

the problem is it is a fake. I thought they were just using the name, however in case there a corresponding "original" mean well product with the same design, this would be helpful.

S-1500-60 switching supply with adjustable current / voltage - I am lost

Hi there, I bought two S-1500-60 "men well" 1500W / 60V switching supplies from aliexpress, which according to the seller should have 5V adjustable voltage and current. The 5V controllability was actually a add-on, originally they are shipped with potentiometers instead of the connectors (image...

Connect PowerSupply+Inverter at the same time (ground loop)

I've a bit headroom regarding the voltage, but every V means lost efficiency :(. The switching supply only has 85%, the inverter is spec'ed at 90% ... losses with my cheap components seem to accumulate quickly ;) I just contacted the seller and he mentioned no reverse current protection is...

Connect PowerSupply+Inverter at the same time (ground loop)

Good to know, I have to admit I haven't thought about that. What is a good solition to solve this - is a shotky diode like MBR60200PT the best solution? Are there better types where I loose less voltage? The switching power supply as well as the inverter are both single phase would be connected...

Connect PowerSupply+Inverter at the same time (ground loop)

Hi again, I would like to charge a LiFePO4 battery using a switching power supply and use a SoyoSource inverter to get the stored energy back into the grid later - both controlled via a raspberry pi. So both the power supply as well as the inverter are physically (galvanic) connected through...

Anyone has purchased these Wulills 200AH 24v LiFePo4 batteries ?

Little Update: Received a tracking number (they seem to deliver to european customers by shipping from china to poland in bulk and then using local parcel services). By the structure of the tracking number I recognized it as UPS and voilà - 33kg from Poland to Austria. What seems suspicious...

voltage controllable switching power supply - what does PLC /FCC mean?

Hi there, I would like to use a voltage controllable switching power supply to charge my lifepo4 battery pack: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005001483795759.html?spm=a2g0o.order_detail.0.0.26da6368i9WiUH&gatewayAdapt=glo2deu The system should absorb power which can not be put into the grid...

Anyone has purchased these Wulills 200AH 24v LiFePo4 batteries ?

KingLander: I hope so too, otherwise I have my doubts the rack battery will achieve the 6000+ cycles it is sold for. On the other hand, I have my doubts regardless of the cell type ;) However, it is good to hear you are actually satisfied with the performance of the battery. So all in all it...

Charging pre-built 48V/120AH server rack battery with simply switching supply?

Thanks for confirming a simple switching power supply is enough, glad to hear it is as simple as I hoped for. Awesome :) It seems really great what can be achieved with DIY in this field, instead of all the vendor lock-ins with artificial hurdles one can use completly exchangeable components...

Charging pre-built 48V/120AH server rack battery with simply switching supply?

Hi there, I've recently ordered a 48V/120ah rack battery with Display/RS485 BMS which I would like to charge from AC. Is it possible to charge the rack battery simply via an 0-60V switching supply with constant current and stop charging after reaching a certain voltage? I saw many chargers...

Anyone has purchased these Wulills 200AH 24v LiFePo4 batteries ?

ordered the 48V / 120aH rack battery two weeks ago - unfortunatly before reading they are also using pouch cells. time will tell what is inside, my hope is that with the extra cost of the server rack case + Display-BMS the small price advantage of pouch cells will not be worth it. on the other...
