It’s been over two weeks since SS has responded to an email. I was told front panel hardware would be replaced if the firmware update didn’t help. Then I was ghosted, yet again.

New firmware is actually posted now. That said, still zero devices detected when connected to master battery on ID 1.

David Poz posted his video on this over the weekend. This post by @Matruco nicely outlines the steps. You just won't have to set the communication protocol on the battery as this only applies to the EG4 LL V2's. As long as you are on the newest firmware you should be good...

Agreed, tech support tried to convince me of this as well. Clearly a new firmware would have an updated name. We are getting the run-around.

Yes, the information that is displayed isn't completely accurate on mine either. According to the EG4-LL V2 spec sheet, both max charge and discharge current should be reading 100A. The Signature Solar video shows 50A charge current which aligns with the max recommended current in the spec...

I’m in the same boat as many of you. I have 6 EG4-LL V2’s working fine in open loop with Schneider XW Pro. InsightHome is fully functioning otherwise but is unable to communicate with battery BMS following same steps shown in EG4 SS video on YouTube. Been through all the troubleshooting with SS...
