    Help with my 4s 12v 100A BMS

Thank You for that info. my main reason for asking was to be able to charge the battery like after about 4 to 6 hours of fishing so that it would be ready to go when I go out again. Another question, will this charger harm my BMS???

    Help with my 4s 12v 100A BMS

I have a question. Will this battery charger work to charge my battery (Lifepo4 16 cells 12v) located inside my boat when not in use or will it do more harm than good ????

    Help with my 4s 12v 100A BMS

I recentely purchased a DALY 4s 12v 100A bms. I connected all the wires by steps as told to in the instructions. And when the meter is connected to the pos. and neg terminals on the battery I get 13.52v. However when going thru the BMS, I only get 4.26v. Is the BMS garbage?

    Charging a Headway

I think the cells are toast because when I check them with a meter it says 1.7v but as I leave the leads attached the voltage keeps going down. When I connect the charger set at 0.5A- 3.33v it tells me "fully charged" Their is no way I can put 3.33 volts into these cells using my charger...

    Charging a Headway

I have found out that 3 of my headway battery's were low voltage I think my BMS is bad becuse I hooked up a "Smart Charger" (12v 6A-24v 3A 7 stage smart bat. charger) the question I have is can I charge thes batterys to 3.3v using my iMax B6AC charger. The voltage now is around 1 v. Terry

I just looked at it and cell #1 is at 2.49 and all the others are at 3.60????

All the cells (4) are at 3.60 v and are ballanced according to my charger. All the lights are "off" on the BMS now. The battery is fully charged. Should I do a discharge now??.

What are the voltages of your cells? They run from 3.31 to 3.33volts. Any idea what the balance parameters and hysteresis of charging is? No idea what so ever. I did edit my previous thread as to say the lights were on without my charger attached and now I see only one red light.

Thanks guys. now for another problem. I connected my BMS along with my battery charger and at the end of charge I have two red lights on my BMS. B-2 and 3 without the charger connected. Is this common??

Thank you again for the info. I am hooking up my balance connector, however my connectors have one red wire and 4 black. I know the red wire goes to the positive (cell #4) but how are the other black wires connected (pos. or neg to cells 1,2,3)?? Please see attached photos.

I take it that this is a 4p battery . according to my figure is row 1 (1,2,3,4 cells or 4,8,12,16)

so with this diagram would the 4 connections on the BMS (B+, B2, B3, & B4 go to Cells positive 1,2,3 & 4?? and will each connection balance that roll of cells???. hpwells1

Ok, so the bms I have now will work? and could you explain to me where on my picture the #1,2,3 and 4 wires (on the bms) would connect to?. ie, positive 1,2,3,4. If so I don't see how it could measure the voltage for the remaining 12 cells. I guess I just don't understand. I thought you...

Hello all. I am building or should I say rebuilding a 12volt battery using 16 headway 38120 cells. I previously was only using 8 of these cells and I was using a APEX 4s12V-14.6V 60A/100A BMS connected in the Common Port-Shared Connection. It didn't seem to last as long as I thought it...
