My experience with Signature solar over multiple purchases once I apply my Florida address Sales tax come off the total.

Amazon carries several countertop water distilling machines from $50-150 each. They take 4-5 hours to distill a gallon of water. Be aware some States like Florida see distilling tied to alcohol and have trouble seeing past it.

I ordered 2 batteries and will be using extra ones that only have connectors on one end and use the end designed for the inverter. Another option is the connectors from SS come with a male and female end. You could build a mounting point or even buss bar for connection.

If the connectors from SS will connect to the 4 awg wire on the Chargeverter it would be the cleanest option. My solution was to use Polaris tap.

If you can make those connectors work with 4awg wire from the Chargeverter. In my case I have extra cables and will be using a Polaris tap 3/0-4awg to join with the 4 awg wire. These are actually a few dollars more then the connectors you are using. They weren’t available when I was looking...

Please keep us updated. The Chargeverter is setup for the American market with its 240v being split into two 120v lines. It runs fine on one of the lines at 120v. Not sure how it will do with 240v going over a single line. Make sure is all I am saying...

Consider adding a disconnect to handle the 300 amp possible discharge from the battery.

Going back to the disconnect needing to be within 3 feet of the panel and originally stated a rooftop array. It would seem a manual disconnect would be impractical for this setup unless you had a really low roof structure.

My question would be how far off the ground would a cutoff switch need to be for a rooftop panel install assuming the panels went right to the roofs edge. Could it be reached without a ladder?

If an inspector is looking at it they will probably want something like a generator interlock switch to prevent accidental line feedback.

I might be a little slow, I know I need new glasses. After printing the authorization to mark and reading the mode numbers then comparing this to the 9540A cert listing model WP-16/280-3-AWLL. Is it called something else on the 9540 cert?

A little additional info on the pallet build. Additional problem is the battery case has supports for forklift access. That distributed the weight to 3 slats on the pallet.

Wasn’t that hard, cut the binding straps, remove outer wrap, then take each box off the pallet. With packaging the batteries are 370 lb each and moved them with a hand truck. Luckily I had a neighbor that helped.

Problem was the batteries were first on the pallet running with the center support of the pallet. The 2 batteries were 740 pounds with packing material. 900 pounds of adult fun from Signature Solar. Not excited about the stickers I have found so far. I opened the boxes looking for damage but lot ready to install so still packaged. This is the only sticker I have seen yet on the outside of the boxes.

They are actually shipping. My order 8/28 notice of shipping 10/17 contacted today by trucking company for delivery tomorrow around noon 10/20.

Something to consider if you are using the anchor bolts that come with the BrightMount system. They are 10mm and directions are to drill 1/2” hole. It’s a loose fit, I switched out to 1/2” x 5” wedge anchor bolts.

There are EG4 branded connectors listed on SS website. Red and black with male and female matching parts. About $20 for a red set or the black set. After looking at other sources with confusing specs and much higher prices, this didn’t look that bad.

I had an email from signature solar about my order. After a brief exchange clarifying, I receive an additional email confirming shipping status. I can’t confirm sticker status until I receive them. They may be working on the idea it will take two weeks to clear out current pre-orders.

Log in on the signature solar web site then look at your orders.

Just notified by Signature Solar my order from 8/28 has shipped.

Just a heads up, we should get info on the PowerPro batteries soon. I have some on order and the status at SS has changed to shipped. No confirmation email yet just visible through my account page.
