    Trouble Charging LiTime TM Batteries

If I were to Disconnect the charger at the end of the Absorption charge period when it at 14.6V, would the resting charge stay higher? I'm not sure if the charger app is showing the battery voltage or the charger voltage. During the Bulk charge, while charging was set for 14.4V the app showed a...

    Trouble Charging LiTime TM Batteries

LiTime claims the full resting voltage is >13.33V but other charts show 13.6V as full and 13.3V as 90%. What's a "normal" full resting charge?

    Trouble Charging LiTime TM Batteries

Another Newbie here with a similar LiTime experience. I bought 4 new LiTime 12V 230Ah Plus Low-Temp Protection LiFePO4's. As received charge was 13.1V I 1st tried charging with a 20A" LiFePO4 charger from Amazon and got strange results. The battery charged for 14.2 v, 15.4 amps (never got to...

1.5 hp 240v AC deep well pump start up surge of 40amps

Think I could split one of the 120V hots and have a 120V plug (with the neutral also), so I could unplug the pump and then plug into the 120V with out rewiring each time I need to use 120? So have a 240 and a 120 plug available, but just using one at a time?

1.5 hp 240v AC deep well pump start up surge of 40amps

If I go with the Sigineer 6kW Inverter, I have questions about wiring the output. I seems that it can only be wired for 120 or 240 and not both at the same time? For the pump (no neutral required) Just the 2 hots. and If I wanted to get 120v then one hot and a neutral. When only feeding it with...

1.5 hp 240v AC deep well pump start up surge of 40amps

Can't change the pump to soft start. It's 181' down and "hard piped" by code. That requires a special truck to raise it $$$.

Thanks Sunshine, my batteries came yesterday "LiTime 12V 230Ah Plus Low-Temp Protection LiFePO4 Battery, Built-In 200A BMS, Max 2944Wh Energy" . Think those will handle it? From what I understand Li likes to be stored at about 70%? The vendor offered me a deal for 2 more.

1.5 hp 240v AC deep well pump start up surge of 40amps

Thank you very much again. Is the inverter (6kW Pure Sine Wave Inverter) a low frequency inverter? I have read that that's best for the pump.

Hi Hedges, thanks for the feedback. Electrical is my weak area. Are you saying that I would require a 48V battery? And a 20,000 watt inverter?

Thanks again for all the advice, So any advice on an affordable pure sine low frequency inverter? And how many of the "LiTime 12V 230Ah Plus " batteries would be required? I'm guessing a sub $1K inverter might not be able to cover the requirements.

1.5 hp 240v AC deep well pump start up surge of 40amps

Hello, thank you all for the replies. The two batteries currently on their way are two 12V 230Ah. The pump surge should only last for about one second. And yes the inverter will only be on when needed. Wouldn't the capacitor in the inverter be the most affected by the surge? Do the batteries...

1.5 hp 240v AC deep well pump start up surge of 40amps

I'm a beginner. I know this topic has been discussed before, but the advice for inverters is beyond my budget. I would like to have a system for emergency use only. This would be to run the pump for about 15 minutes at most 3 times a day. The pump is AC "230" volts (240V) with a running amps of...
