thanks for the info. I may have to check with local jursdiction to see what code compliances I will need for completely off grid installs. For instance, perhaps UL1741 inverter listings may only be required for grid interactive installations...?

Ok thanks. I have a Honda EU7000 modified with a 2wire start circuit. My only concern was how the 18K would react with sending out a generator start signal but not having the generator attached to the "gen" input terminals.

Curious about the chargeverter on power -up. If the breaker is on, does the unit begin charging at the last current setting at AC power application? Or, does the chargeverter need manual setup on each AC power up?
