I am trying to put together a 48V system in a 144" Sprinter. As a beginner that is a big task. I start with a Solaria 370watt 48v Panel in series with a NewPowa 160watt 12 V panel for 524 watts at 99.7% efficiency and 60v. ( I chose this combo to maximize roof space and efficiency - 3ft x 4ft remain).
I am combining this with a 48v Growatt which I am hoping will be able to charge a 48V DIY Battery Bank. One hope is that I may be able to power a HotSpot 48V Split Air mounted in place of the below board tire carrier. I really would appreciate ANY input as to whether you think the solar/inverter/charger/battery combination will work. Any other Ideas?
A big question is what experience anyone has with the Sinopoly 500Ah cell? I am also looking at the TinyBMS? I attached a materials spec sheet so you can look at all major components (sourcing included).
