spent an hour editing this and adding audio and it got messed up. not spending the time again. you can easily see whats happening.

@sunshine_eggo wanted to know, what happens to the power when the battery is full and a heavy load turns off.

the answer is here. first clip water heater turns on- second clip water heater turns off. Grid forming inverter inverter is commanding the grid tie inverter to derate by changing the system frequency

Interesting the sensitivity to hz. From 60.15 to 60.34 hz to shutdown.

Also shows some power going to the full battery to buffer the excess.

It is . I had to tweak the growatt settings a little. It starts derating output at 6.03hz . At 60.15 it was already derating. At 60.5 it will take the full output of 11.4kw down to 0.

I think the sunny island prioritizes using output from solar if possible. When a load comes on it instantly stops derating but when a load goes off it takes a little while to curb the pv inverter
