Hi, Totally new to solar, I have created what i think the wiring should be for a Off Grid Solar PV System with Grid Supply Back Up and Energy Storage, Self Consumption Without Export. My utility bill Estimated annual usage: 4,456.6kWh. My day time hourly use is very low as the house empty, energy meter says around 400W

Location Birmingham UK, 240AC mains from grid is PME (Protective Multiple Earthing)

I have purchased 4 x Renesola RS41-425NX-E3, I have plans to expand when finances allow.
Maximum Power (Pmax) 425Wp, Voltage at Maximum Power (Vmpp) 32.27V, Current at Maximum Power (Impp) 13.17A, Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) 38.41 V

4 x 425w, Voltage (Vmp)32.50, Current (Imp)13.08
Maximum string voltage (Voc): 169.62V (based on the min temp -15°C)
Minimum string voltage (Vmp): 117.49V (based on the max temp 37°C)

All panels wired in series
Volts = 130, Amps = 13.08, Total Power = 1701 W, Loss % = 0 %
All panels wired in parallel
Volts= 32.5, Amps = 52, Total Power =1690 W, Loss % = 0 %

1. please advise if my wiring is correct
2. Advise on a manufacturer/model for Hybrid inverter with Grid Supply Back Up and Energy Storage. I deal 24 or 48vDC
Sorry all a bit vague, I am really just trying to get the Wiring layout correct, Cable sizes DC Breakers/switches ratings to be established at a later point
Any help appreciated.
Wayne

Hi Wayne

it looks like you're pretty sorted mate , youve obviously done your research

I'd just like to point out, your hybrid inverter needs to be large enough (KW) to supply all loads down stream of it

If you've got an electric cooker, shower, heating , that could all add up very quickly...

It really depends what you're trying to power??
