ANT BMS not supported by Bluetooth of IPhone

I built a 10S 3P Battery pack for my bicycle using an ANT BMS (7S~16S Smart ANT BMS Bluetooth Lifepo4 Li-ion LTO Battery BMS Protection Board IOS Android 10S 12S 13S 20S)

I can see it in the blue tooth settings of my iPhone (latest software patch installed, iPhone 12 mini with iOS 16.1.1). But when trying to pair I get an error message saying that the BMS-ANT16ZNKB is not supported.

Anybody has a clue what the issue might be?

I have no experience with iphone but the newer ANTs use bluetooth low energy and you don't pair. Just open the app and connect in there.
