Hi all,

Does anyone know of a budget 100AH Lithium battery with a 200A BMS? Does such a battery even exist?

For my travel trailer I am thinking of replacing my RV/Marine lead acid battery with 2 budget 100AH LiFePO4 batteries with high/low temp protection and bluetooth. Someone on a Facebook Group suggested I get a 200AH battery with a 200A BMS ("be sure not to get the one with a 100A BMS"). I thought 2 x 100AH batteries in parallel might be better, but I'm not finding any with a 200A BMS.

Two 100Ah with 100A bms 12V lithium batteries in parallel to a busbar, 125A ClassT fused at each, is a 200A battery bank.

I have two 140Ah 12V lithiums with 100A BMS’s and one 200Ah 12V w/ 100A BMS in parallel to a busbar.

Two 12V batteries in parallel give you system redundancy which thwarts Murphy imho

I like the two 100A BMS parallel path myself. Gives you the same loading capacity but saves the 200A BMS cost. Another advantage is that in the case of a failure, you can limp on the single 100A.

Yes, there's a 200Ah, 200A version like this "Plus" model
