I have a 48v setup I am putting together, I’ve got it all connected but I have one cell reading 1.6 on the bms but with a multimeter it reads 3.2. I checked all the cells voltage and double checked the wiring and can’t figure it out, any advice would be appreciated.

Hmmmm, That does seem odd. What brand BMS is it?

Can you unplug the harness and measure the cell voltage at the plug? (You might need a small nail or pin to stick in the connector to measure the voltage..... be careful...if you short the two pins it could fry the harness wire.

Either your BMS is bad or there is current flowing through that sense lead…
