I've noticed my charger loses power when it starts to get warm while charging my 4 EVE 304 ah 12V pack. At the start of the charge it puts out 61-64 amps. 5 minutes into a fresh charge, the fan will kick on and then the output start dropping to 51 amps.

So I pointed a 13" fan on it and discovered output went from 51 to 54 AMPs and its repeatable. So I stuck the charger outside my tent and output rose to 57 amps, but then when the breeze stops it drops to 54. Its not even hot, it gets 110F easily and I haven't noticed how much power it puts out in those temps since I just noticed its taking a bit longer to charge now. Are all chargers going to behave this way or do I have a unit that isn't engineered very well?

Generally things don’t run as efficiently when they get hot…that’s normal …mine does that…. everyone’s does that… that’s why fans are your friend..
