Charging my VTOMAN 600x with panels. Help?

Hello everyone!

I'll start off with the important information here: I am a complete newbie when it comes to electricity as a whole. I highly appreciate any responses that someone like me can understand.

In short, I'm looking to use some existing solar panels I have in my garage I got a deal on (With the intent to eventually learn how to set them up and use them) to recharge my new VTOMAN 600x power station for camping. I purchased an MC4 to DC5521 cable to adapt my panels to the Power Station, but do not want to even attempt to try before understanding what would be required to make it work (Without damaging my power station).

The 600X power station manual states:

What kind of solar panel does the jump 600x support?

To charge the jump 600x properly, the solar panels need to meet the following requirements:

  1. the working voltage of the solar panel must be between 12v and 30v
  2. the solar panel has a DC5521 adapter (or converted into a DC5521) (I purchased this already)
So the decision is, do I purchase something to make either of these panels work and actually use the panels?

What would i need to make these compatible?

-Or do I bite the bullet and purchase VTOMAN's $150+ dollar panel.

I have read about step-down converters and mppt solar charge controllers. do you think it's even worth it to pursue trying to reduce the voltage on the panels i already own to make use of them? or is it just all around worth purchasing a new panel like the one you linked?

The voltage of your panel has exceeded the 30V requirement and cannot be used. Otherwise it's easy to burn out the charging board, there are many choices for 100W panels, you just need to buy a new one, as long as it's not a big brand, $150+ is a lot of choices
