That's good salesmanship! For those who wanted monocrystalline, the company can say "Yeah, that's what we meant to say". For those that thought monocrystalline was too expensive and wanted just polycrystalline the company can say "Yeah, that's what we meant to say". ?

I've not purchased panels with only a 100W nameplate, but from what I've seen most are more expensive than this one. I agree that $1 per watt is on the high side, but to get lower than that you need to buy something bigger than 100W, right?

At least they have a 2 pack of fire extinguishing spray right next to the solar panel. Some diy’ers may just need it.

I guess they think it will be used with more than one panel...

Nope, it is 8.5A

So, on par with 100W output

I've actually used a couple of those Coleman SCC's. They suck. No float, no bulk, nothing but straight 12.8v out all the time.

For $10 this could be also an easy way to test individually each PV of an array?

They offer a 10A, 20A, and 30A and the Max Input Voltage is 25V for 12V and 50V for 24V.
I wonder it could be run with just some resistance load and battery less?

Actually, the controller outputs 14.8V I installed one on my car, and achieved 97ish watts into the battery.

Odd... my 2 never put out more than 12.8 regardless of what the sun was doing or the battery SoC. I've since replaced 1 of them and the other is scheduled for replacement when I get to camp and re-vamp the outdoor shower.
