I considered putting this in the humor section…

The panel is listed as crystalline…

Not monocrystalline… not polycrystalline… just crystalline…

Includes a small charge controller by the looks of it. Might explain the not-so-great price/watt

Oddly it is a 16A controller...
I guess they think it will be used with more than one panel...

Nope, it is 8.5A

So, on par with 100W output

And the packaging states "Up to 100W", so they're honest ?

I've actually used a couple of those Coleman SCC's. They suck. No float, no bulk, nothing but straight 12.8v out all the time.
Actually, the controller outputs 14.8V I installed one on my car, and achieved 97ish watts into the battery.

Odd... my 2 never put out more than 12.8 regardless of what the sun was doing or the battery SoC. I've since replaced 1 of them and the other is scheduled for replacement when I get to camp and re-vamp the outdoor shower.
