My charge controllers are 2x: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07429RK43/
I based my automation off of the values read from the charge controller after modifying this software: https://github.com/toggio/PhpEpsolarTracer

Over the years I've created a handful of bash scripts that run on my RasberryPI, to control relay's that do various things, like disconnect the loads, activate the battery charger if voltages get too low etc....

Even create a real time dashboard, I can view online.

I'm always curious to see how others are doing things like this. It's amazing to see the interesting solutions people come up withAnnotation 2020-02-21 094825.png

I personally use Victron products that all offer data integration but if I was going to setup something new I would most likely use a consumer IoT microcontroller platform, such as the Atmel/Microchip SAM D series chips used extensively in Adafruit, Particle, Teensy and Sparkfun products.
