So bit of a long story. My current setup is a 3.6kw sunnyboy PV system coupled to an alpha 3.0kw battery. I’ve just purchased a 6.0kw delta battery with an option to buy another 2.
I haven’t got the delta battery yet but from what I’ve read they are made up of 2x 16s. Apparently they are lifepo4 so guess they have 2 BMS in each unit.
I was looking at purchasing a Sofar Hybrid so was planing on removing the BMS(s) and adding a pair of Seplos BMS’s so it would talk to the Sofar inverter.
or could I try to use whatever BMS is already on the battery?
I haven’t collected the battery yet so I can’t do much.
