Disparity between smart meter and Inverter readings

The difference between the Import and Export readings of my Solis inverter and my smart meter, according to Octopus, seem excessive, particularly the import readings in the summer months.

Has anyone else had similar scale of disparities? Is this normal? I understand that smart meters are calibrated and inverters are not, but the difference seems excessive.

Hi there. Seems we have the same problem although my kit is Growatt. My export to grid figures are fairly close but the import form grid figures are far apart especially in summer.

I appreciate that with a CT clamp (as I have for the grid measure) it is only current that gets measured so the power figures will never be the same. But, given my export numbers are close that would tend to suggest something is happening on the analysis of import.

Did you get anywhere in trying to understand and even rectify this?
