EASUN / POWLAND ISOLAR SMR II 5.5 KW

Hi Guys,
some week ago i buy inverter in subject but documentation included into the package is not clear. I read somewhere that is like soro vm II, i download the document but have different function. i think i didn't get a good deal

maybe some one have more experience and can help me to understand

my questions:

1) Connect to battery. ( in manual see have rs232 rs485 and CAN but somewhere read that have only rs232 and rs485 )

2) i have also growatt ark 25lv battery ( unable to connect over CAN ) / BMS always blink ( actually is connect only over + and - but i not found yet the stable parameter )

3) Manage from linux or windows os ( by watchpower i can get only information, can't manage or modified parameters, must to set everything by button )

also over mpp-solar can get only information, every command in list is reject with error

- all online document is unavailable

- forget the support from easun or powland, nobody answer. Only able to sell

- Invert buyd in europe but if broken must to send back to China.

- Hope my experience can help someone to understand what is good to buy or not

I have the same problem with the same inverters, EASun Isolar SMR II 5.5kw. What i have been told is that the firmware is very old in this model and are blocked so settings sent over RS232 will not be accepted. And the firmware can not be replaced. I have mailed Sorotec who I have been told are the manufacturer. I hope they reply, because EAsun never ever does.

I solve all my problem !!

After two months EASun Isolar SMR II 5.5kw burn all mosfet ( maybe because i set 100A for charge battery ??? ) put on the trash

So i buy growatt spf 5000 es and i was find the serenity.

For me Easun/powland/sorotec can closed

I was also looking at the Growatt 5000ES! Perhaps better to get them.

So, I now replace my Easun for Growatt SPF5000ES
. And I am very happy.

I mistakenly bought the new EASUN IGRID SX 6kW inverter, which I am trying to monitor from Raspberry. However, the communication protocol has changed compared to the old models, also the RS485 pinout connector is different; someone has the communication protocol?.
Take care with EASUN, as they are only bazaar sellers.
