After spending a few hours reading through posts here on the forums I can't find my exact question so here we go
I see plenty of threads talking about generator boost where if the battery is dead and PV cannot cover the total load it will supplement the load with generator input, can it also do this with the grid input?
If no, can I safely hook my grid input up to the generator terminals to achieve the same result?
I'd like the inverter to use as much PV is available even if the load is higher than what PV can provide rather than completely fail over to grid.
