EG4 6000XP HELP

I have EG4 6000XP . Can I keep the main breaker on when using the 6000xp with grid and load from inverter running into the same Breaker box as the main ?

Do not interconnect the load and grid, although I couldn't find this explicitly stated in the manual:

The EG4 6000XP is an off-grid inverter so isn't designed to back-feed power through the grid breaker, although it can pass through power from the grid to the load when the battery is drained to a user defined voltage / SOC.

Here is an example Wiring Diagram that may help.

Input and output can never be connected together.
And output can never be connected to grid.
Unless your goal is smoke signals.
