I have eg4 600xp. Connected 1500 watts pv to unit, but display and phone monitor shows 0 watts input. So I am unable to charge 3 ll batteries. The pv input switch is turned on Is there something in settings I need to change?

How is your PV array setup and what are the panels specs? Do you have voltage readings from PV at the terminals to your 6000? A photo of your wiring to the 6000 might help with troubleshooting. Be cautious working around voltages if you are unsure of what you are doing.

When connected to inverter pv+1 pv-1, multimeter shows 0 volts. When I disconnect one of wires from inverter, multimeter shows 170 volts

Do you have any loads on it?
If your battery is misconfigured in the 6000xp and you have no loads, this would make sense.
I am going to assume that you are measuring the PV inputs wrong. Not sure how but this doesnt make sense.
Please provide pictures on how you have everything connected and how you are measuring
