Worth it? For sure. 8 haven't found anything better or cheaper.
I got 2 other inverters at 6000 watts and they don't have passthru

I have 34 kWh of batteries

I have not tried that. I'm not sure my firmware supports it. I bet i need to update to use it.

It would work but why? Whats your main goal?

I am just trying to find a way to use this thing as my major power supply. Diy solar, battery and grid as a mix. So as long my diy solar is little (only have 20x 175 watt panels yet), i want the grid to boost pv and keep batteries charged for ups usage but also use all the pv without throttling. Since the main grid hook up is a ats, it is either pv/battery or grid.
The gen boost sounds like a joint venture of all together. So i would be able to always use 25 amps per phase not depending if any of my sources are sufficient.

Do i understand this correct?
