Final advise for turning on eg4 18kpv

I’ve nearly made it to the finish line. I have a PV electrician helping me with the last few steps with a 2nd breaker box/bus bar that I’ll disconnect from our primary box. The primary box will remain grid-supported while sub-panel will be off grid. I’ll slowly pull lines over from the main to the 2nd breaker box as I get more confident in my production.

Anyways, when we finally ‘flip the switch’ and turn the sucker on, any advise from those that have gone before me? All the videos I see note that it ‘just works’….but any firmware updates I need to do immediately? Any dumb settings that need to be adjusted?

Dumb settings are subjective. As long as you have the batteries matched to the right setting: lithium, Sel or user you should be good. If you want a better answer you might need to add more specific information about what loads you’re going to run, what strings you’ll be using in the mppt and how many watts your system can theoretically produce, etc…
