Have a new Growatt sc4880 mppt. Seems to be working fine. My panel is putting out 20-30v but zero amps (0.0). This was later this evening with zero sun and quite overcast and cloudy. I’m just curious if that is normal and it’s just so low that it wasn’t reading at all. Picture of panel tag attached. Panels are used and have some hairline cracks in them. They were putting out amperage prior to me installing them in new location in the sun.

What is the voltage of the battery you are trying to charge? If its a 24V battery then the solar panel voltage must be in the range of 34 to 100V. If its a 12V battery then you should see some charging amps from the panels as long as there is at least 18V from the solar panels. Perhaps the batteries are fully charged already?

It’s funny you say that the batteries are at 13.4. So if the batteries are fully charged no more amps will be put through?
