Hello everyone,

I'm experiencing issues with my inverter when charging by solar my battery with low currents (4A to 5A). I have a Tewaycell 300Ah battery with an LD BMS similar to the Narada BMS.

The problem arises when the inverter is charging at this amperage for a few seconds: the voltage of the inverter's battery fluctuates, causing the battery state of charge (SoC) to indicate 100%.

This voltage discrepancy is different from the BMS battery voltage, which remains constant. I've measured the voltage using a meter on a cable connected to the inverter, which is 5 AWG. However, I haven't checked the cable at the battery connector because it's difficult to access (image attached).

I will also attach a video showing the strange behavior of the inverter voltage. The solar charge is set to a maximum of 6A, and the bulk voltage is 56.4V. You can observe that I shut down the solar switch to restart the test.

My guess is that the BMS is cutting out due to cell over voltage protection. The inverter voltage spike you see is when the bms disconnects. The voltage then drops when the cell voltage drops enough to reconnect. Are your cells balanced?
