I certainly wish I found this site about 2 years ago. I had a rather ambitious plan to go grid tied solar and started with a component kit. 10 of Canadian Solar CS3k-295 watt panels, 5 of hoymiles 600 watt micro inverters, a data logger and mounting rails and tie downs. Got through putting it all together, electrical inspection done, BC Hydro's blessing (as it is grid tied) and I was up and running. Then, expanded with 14 more panels of 10 of 320 watt CS3K-320 panels, 4 of CS6K-310 panels and 7 more hoymiles micro inverters. All sitting on top of a shipping container on 1.5" x 1.5" steel tube framework. A total of 7.3 Kw and the best day I had was last September when I generated 40.8 Kw.
