Help with Rover PG 40A not accepting PV input

I rolled out my DYI 3000w 12V 120Ah solar generator with LiFePo4 13.5V built pack. This was built in 2020 after going through Hurricane Erma with the eye coming over our house in Florida. Foolishly, I tested all the components way back when, but NOT as a finished unit. So there I was with egg on my face when the power went off.

My Renogy Rover PG will not get off night mode. The 2 20V 100-watt PV daisy chained panels were kicking out 36.8V but the Rover would not recognize the PV units that for 4 days were steady in that range of voltage output.

Nothing I could do would convince the Rover to accept the PV input.
Where did I fail? (other than not doing a dry run 2 years ago)
With some jury-rigging a 750w 12v inverter to run my variable power supply from the 6-6V golf cart batteries, I kept my refrigerator/freezer working and supplied a fan and CPAP machine.

Any suggestions would be more than welcome and appreciated.

If you are getting voltage on the PV terminals at the Renogy but it does not come out of night mode than likely your SCC is borked. I assume that you have the battery connected first.

Unfortunately things fail and often do so as the most troublesome time.
