I Just bougth a sunmart hibrid inverter 5500w, instal all wirh 4 solar pannels from sunpower 328W wirh 64voc, without baterys

Fter few minuts with load of 1.5kw and 1k frm the pannels start appering a plastic burning smell, After 1 hour of working start sparkly inside of the inverter and my fuse box was disconnect i try to restar and the Same hapen só i had to disconnect all

I dont have a clue what could be work fine for 1hour and fail now i connot even connect i

Yes it even have the óptions on the menu work fine do. One hour as i say

What does the seller say about the issue?
$335 for the unit is really cheap for what you get, may be too good to be true.

Yes is that one, was really cheap with all European certifications and have good review from the buyers.
Attach i put the conversation wirh the seller, basicly say is my fault lol wirh even try to undwrstant my connection and say i damaged the inverter

I hope your credit card company/PayPal can help you out, I doubt that the Seller or Alibaba will do anything for you. The seller seems to be nasty. You should show them this DIY site so people can see how bad the company treats the customer.

Me to, i pay with PayPal for my luck, this is why i try to understand what happen i Will later today make a vídeo trying to connect the inverter as well to submit to PayPal as prove. I can post here and u guys can check if sómething is wrong

They did even care that piss me offx i had higth hopes for this inverter. later i Will take picture and vídeo of the. Instalation, connections etc.

The funny part is i was Just starting to do Same test, i put my tesla charging at 1kw and connect my airnconditor só the loads was 1.5 and the solar as pulling 1kw with 5.4 amps tlitery the photo i took there was momentos before all start sparklying, i have another 4 solar with micro inverter, and because i was not sure about having then connect with this one, i disconnect for later connect then in paralel.

i made some videos now is gaving a error of low voltage, according to my guy the sparks come from the hight voltage coil, what can be cause by a bad isulation on the terminal inside of the ivnerter. we try to connect again the inverter, now is cold, and with start but shutdowns the energy immiditly and gaves the error of low voltage but no sparks what do you thing ?

2) I see TWO wires on the PV minus input terminal. Why two wires?

1) yes they are not connect i disconnect then, they dont work togheter
2) the cable was a 3G 6MM the guy put on the - 2 of the 3 saying that way have in total 12mm , was alone with connect 2 in - there and the same on the - on the solar, wit was a provisory when we are waiting for the 10MM cable to come, but still only 4 solar paneles of 328W 64VOC eah was mount it

I purchased same from Jim li of foshan sunmart on Alibaba.
I installed it with 48v 200ah AGM battery bank.
The sales agent was kind enough to guide in installation though it's a replica of phocos anygrid inverter which I have installed many times.

The unit has been running for one month with no problems.

By the way sunmart has the worst Gel batteries ever 250 amp and the company itself are fraud company i had a bad experience with them and so many people too Sunmart company is a lie
