For instance, I have a JBD BMS which is working on JBD BMS Protocol. But I want to use DALY BMS protocol on JBD BMS. What are the steps to update this protocol? I know about setting parameters for the BMS but new to updating protocols.

I have come across cases where the BMS is JBD and protocol is DALY. I dont know how they do it
Do you have any examples? It's only with inverter style BMS that can support a variety of protocols (over CAN or Modbus/RS485) and you can choose one in the configuration. This allows integration with e.g. Victron, supporting the Pylontech protocol, etc.
